Delete a patient record |

| Deleting a patient's record is not an usual task.
You should never have to delete a patient's record. One possibility is that you created a wrong chart and need to erase
the error, BEFORE there is data entered in it.
To delete a chart, you MUST have supervisory rights and also
have the "Delete a Patient" AND "Delete a record" rights checked in the user
maintenance. If you have ALL these rights, your edit drop-down menu will have the "Delete THIS record"
option available. |

If you are really sure, then click the "Yes" button. The "No" and "Cancel" buttons will abort the operation and the patient's record will remain in the database. Then to make sure that "Yes" has not been selected by mistake, a second warning message box will appear for a final confirmation. Clicking on the "Yes" button will remove the current patient's record from the database permanently. Clicking on the "No" button will abort the operation and the patient's record will remain in the database. |
