Nurse Notes tab

     When you click on a line in the browser, the note content will be displayed in the text box to the right of the browser. The browser shows the date and time the note was written and the nurse username ID. The note itself is a free text message with no limit in length.

"Add a Note" button

     When you click on the "Add a Note" button, the following dialog window will open. You enter your electronic signature password to activate the "Note:" text box. Only a nurse's electronic signature will be accepted here. The note box is free text with unlimited length. When you are finished, click on the "Save" button to keep and store your note. If you click on the "Cancel" button, nothing will be saved and you will loose all your changes.

"Change the Chart Note" button

     When you click on the "Change" button, the following dialog window will open. You enter your electronic signature password to activate the "Note:" text box. A nurse or physician electronic signature will be accepted here. The note box is free text with unlimited length, the text you enter will be appended to the old notes with the most recent on top. When you are finished, click on the "Save" button to keep and store your note. If you click on the "Cancel" button, nothing will be saved and you will loose all your changes.
