On this Main screen, you can click on the pull-down menu line on the upper left (just over the buttons). Available choices are always dependant of your security level and some choices may be grayed out because you don't have permission to access these levels.

When a patient's chart is opened, you can navigate
between the other charts in the database with the arrow buttons. On the search screen window,
you can define the order of presentation of the records. There is 6 orders;
The navigation buttons will show patient records one by one from
the first to the last according to this order. |

When a patient's chart is opened, the pull-down menu line now has a new choice: "Edit". This pull-down menu is related to navigation and edition in the active patient record. The tool bar (buttons on top), has 11 smaller buttons to act as shortcuts to menu choices. If you pass over the buttons with the mouse and leave the arrow over for a second without moving, the description will show up, this is called the tool tips. From left to right:

| Each patient record has TAB pages. These tabs are
like folders that you flip by clicking on them with the mouse. It opens the different sections of the patient record.
There is also a multitude of buttons on the pages, but their task is clearly identified with the label text on them. The
sign directly to the left of the patient's name means that the patient is registered to use the Internet to retrieve her
results and physician's orders. |
