Employees Table

Modify and employee record | Add an employee record | Electronic Signature
 

    The employees data are stored in the "Employees Table". This is where you'll be able to fill up information related to the users demographics and is the section where you can allow "Electronic Signatures" for Nurses or Doctors.
 


     To view an employee record, use the scroll bar or "Search" for either "code" or "Name" and FertiSoft will bring produce the appropriate employee. The Button located at the top of the window  allows the possibility to: "Create a New Record", "Close this file", "Print",  "Move to the next/previous Record" or "Move to the top/bottom of the page".


"Modify" an employee record

     Once granted the appropriate right, select the employee and click "Modify" or double click the name and a dialog box will appear to modify the records. The "Code" is automatically assigned by FertiSoft and cannot be changed. Be sure to "Save" in order to secure your change. Note that the "Emp.#:" field is used to allow "Electronic Signature" (described further). Every other field is self explanatory.
 


"Add an Employee"

  The "Add Employee" button is used like the "Modify" command, but it will bring you a dialog box with empty fields. From there, you can use "TAB" or "Shift + TAB" to move to the next or previous field. Once you've completed the information, click "Save" and  your employee record is created. Now you can view his name under "Employee Table Maintenance".
 


Electronic Signature

    The electronic signature is a feature of FertiSoft that allows a Doctor or a Nurse to sign an addition or modification to a record. It must be shown exactly the same way  as the Bank card PIN number. This has the same value as a hand written signature. The password the user will choose will act has his signature.

     In order to allow an employee to use the electronic signature, the administrator will have to give an employee a code number beginning with either "D" for a Doctor or "N" for nurse.
     From there, the employee will be able to setup his/her electronic signature by using the "System" menu and select a "New Signature".


    This dialog box will be used later if you need to "Change Your Signature". The user name appears in the "Current user Parameters" to confirm that this is this user's signature that is about to be setup. If you setup your signature for the first time, you won't need to fill the "Confirm Current Signature". Simply enter your "New Signature" and then retype it in the "Retype Signature" field to make sure you didn't mistype it.
